Check your Tesco's Clubcard Points

I've received my clubcard vouchers today - without the 1200 extra points I should have had for an online wine order. This is the second time this has happened - so do check that they are adding the extra's they offer (this was a voucher) as there seems to be a problem with the Wine offers being added.

This is a common problem which has come up a lot in the tesco threads. Some people say it takes longer to get added but if the points didn't even show on the delivery note I usually ring up and explain and they will add them on.0

hi
i have had the same problem with the 1200 points on wine. When i rang they said they had had a problem with those codes and they would be added on to the August mailing. Just keep fingers crossed now that they do appear.
I wanted them to take my nephew on some summer days out too

they told me i'd have to wait until the august run for my 1,200 points for an order in March!!!0

extra online points do seem a bit of a gamble..Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

That is exactly what they told me. I just wonder if they are just playing for time, hoping that we'll just forget!0 -
My points were from mid March too. The girl from Tesco's clubcard services added them manually - mine will arrive in August too.0

I also received my points and found that I was missing some. 200 for ordering a CD online, which has now been added manually, which will come with my August points.
I was also expecting 500 points for ordering flowers. Again I rang Customer Services. They were really picky about this one. They wanted a scan of the actual offer, which I thought was funny because it came with the February points mailshot.
Anyway, go cut a long story short, they would not add these manually, I was told they would "automatically" be added to my August total in due course, "if" I was entitled to it.0 -
I'm going to start keeping record's - after all, 1200 points is £48 if used for a 'deal'!0

If you've not been keeping records, how do you know that the points have not been added?0 -

Because in total I had less than 1200 points from Tesco Extra, it should have been all my shopping + 1200. It's a lot of points, if like me you only use any supermarket when you have to. On average I only spend £25 a week there as I get the majority of my meat and veg direct from the supplier.
But in essence you're dead right, I only knew because the amount was so large, (for me) but how many of us wouldn't know.
Clubcard vouchers are great marketing to get people to use Tesco, I specifically used this voucher because on a £50 wine shop it was worth £48 in 'deals'. I could have used a £10 off voucher but choose not to - I also choose to shop online for wine from them, something I wouldn't have done if it weren't for extra clubcard points.
The reason I started the thread was that this was the second time that points hadn't been awarded to me when expected. The first was the previous quarter when 'triple points' were offered. Their excuse then was that the offer had finished when the delivery was made. (It didn't say that on the website when I was ordering though). After 3 long phone calls over a period of months I gave-up. (Unlike me). So you could say I lack trust and this is why I say, sadly, that I need to keep records.
Lastly, this time I had my points added from the staff dealing with clubcard enquiries, as opposed to general customer service. They were more helpful, had access to my wine orders and were able to put it right. The telephone number (0800), was on the back of the literature that came with the vouchers.0
