I am trying to find new ways of amusing my 3 year old during long car journeys. I have recently downloaded my first podcast: from bbc website, best of cbeebies. My car does not have a mp3 connection.
Is it possible to add a podcast to a playlist on itunes, then burn the podcast onto cd? I cannot copy the podcasts into a playlist using itunes .
Is this possible? If yes please explain how in easy steps!
Can anyone describe a way of putting podcasts onto cd using a cdrw drive? Should I be using software other than itunes?
Can recommend a piece of hardware which would enable me to use my ipod in the car?
I am pretty useless with tech stuff so please use idiot style language in any replies!! Thanks in advance.

I use one of these to send stuff from my ipod to the fm car radio
FM transmitter....can pick these up pretty cheaply (paid around a tenner for mine...connect to IPOD and then tune car radio to the correct channel shown on the transmitter's screen & thats it)

The FM-transmitter described above is an easy option - it plugs into your iPod then broadcasts your mp3s using radioaves which your existing car stereo will detect as if it was a new radio station (you tune the car radio to the frequency of the FM-transmitter). You can use your cigarette lighter socket in your car to run both your iPod and the FM-transmitter.
The other option is to burn your own CDs from your mp3 files using your home PC. There are plenty of freeware software options (ie free and no restrictions or unwanted crap) - just google freeware and mp3 to CD and you'll get a list to pick from to suit your personal needs. http://www.bestfreewaredownload.com/freeware/t-free-free-burn-mp3-cd-freeware-chwgyxkr.html this one was at the top of the list and seems ok.
It should be a simple drag and drop action to put your mp3 files onto a CD using the software - put a blank CD into your CDRW and it'll take a minute or so to author the CD depending on your hardware.
Potentially your version of windows already has software to do this without needing to download anything new - check whats in your programme list.Legal team on standby0 -
