    Can I ask for similar help please?

    I have virgin broadband (allegedly 10mb but was regularly around 4mb according to internetfrog) and its been getting slower and slower.

    I use a HP compaq 6820, intel celerion (R) CPU, 550 @ 2.00Ghz, RAM 2Gb, 160Gb HDD,

    Id recommend UPDATING and running another FULL scan

    Id say one of the main reasons its slow is because your using Mcafee (Its notoriously slow)

    You also need SERVICE PACK 2 for Vista

    Open up malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and update the DATABASE via the net

    Thanks Alienrik, sorry for being so dim. I've rerun it below. I'm now thinking it might be a router problem as I found the main cable wasn't fully pushed in and I've noticed a high pitched whine from the box.
