Capital One - will they ask for money back?

I have had a Cap One Platinum card for about 4 or 5 years, used a fair bit with a 6500 limit and I often have a balance on there of anything between 2000-4000 if they give me a good enough deal.
Late last year they offered me 0% on BT made before the end of October, the offer would last up until my August 2009 statement date.
Sounded like a decent offer, so I zeroed my balance and then stuck 4500 on there at 0%. I've been chipping away at it, but the August statement date has come and gone, as has the September statement date, and they're still not charging interest. On my Sept statement it even said estimated interest for next month is £0.00.

Question is, I'm not minded to raise it with them, but could they spot their error, say six months down the line, and then try and claw back the interest that they should've charged? Has anyone else had this sort of thing happen to them before?

  • I had it with tesco but they only did it for the first mth then realised...they didnt back date the interest - just started charging it.... not sure it this means they cant but thought i would say what happened to me :)
hope they dont realise for a while and dont charge the interest :)
