We went to a Red Sea resort close to S.E.S about six years ago in November.
The weather was very hot, but a dry heat so quite bearable.
Not a cloud in the sky for the whole week.
  • Bloody cold at night (I mean cold) & the goes sun down at about 4 pm (or was it 4.30?).

we go to el gouna (near hurghada) . we have been mid november a few times and its been really nice, when we went mid january we found it a little cool and as 1984 said the sun goes down quite early, we would leave it til february in future

to me sharm seems more of a clubby type place which is why we go to el gouna as its much quieter

As above, I tend to avoid Sharm as its a tad chavvy for my tastes, I go to Dahab, about an hours drive from Sharm, its a lovely Bedouin town, with fantastic diving and watersports.
  • WE have been to Sharm in November and Taba in january. Both are warm enough to sun bathe during th eday but cool in the evening. The sea is warm enough to swim in but you will leap out of the poolif it is not heated
  • we tend to go to hurghada and el gouna which is just up the road. memories!!!
