I'm allergic to down and feather ones so I just buy cheapo Matalan ones every year and use the old pillows as dog beds and bin the old duvets. Not very OS but more Moneysaving that taking them to the launderette - I have never paid more than £10 for a winter duvet or £5 for a summer one!Jane

i have a 7.5kg washer, and an all seasons duvet from ikea that clips together and i wash those separatly in my wm
