Talk Talk Mobile as part of your package - better check your bill

We signed up to Talk Talk in Summer 2006 for a broadband and phone package. In addition we added a pay as you go talk talk mobile sim card to our account. This automatically gets topped up with £10 every month.
However my wife was always having to top up the mobile on a very regular basis which made us question whether the phone was actually being topped up. We contacted Talk Talk mobile and they admitted that while they had been adding the £10 to our bill every month, they hadn't actually been topping up the phone since the contract had started and agreed that they would now need to credit our account with a "substantial sum".
However the person in the call centre didn't have the authority to do this. It has to be passed on to a mythical "recalculations department". To me it seems a simple calculation £10 per month for the period of my contract which is over £300.
Although I was promised a response in 7 days its now 1 month later. Still no credit or the phone call from the person who was getting back to me
I will keep on making phone calls to Talk Talk to try and get my money back.
However, if this has happened to me then there is a good chance that there are other talk talk mobile customers who may also be paying for top up that hasn't been applied also. Check your useage carefully!!!!
