Hi,
Really annoyed with this company bought a book from bookdepository.co.uk on 5th October for my girlfriends birthday on the 16th October 2009. They took the money out of my bank account on the 7th October. Still waiting to receive the book.
I sent them an email asking why they havent posted the goods yet and they said they havent sent it as the book was damaged and they have to wait to order a new one before it can be sent? Surely they have more than one copy to post out.
Ive asked for a partial refund\compensation due to the inconvenience but they have said they wont do any of this because of a delay.
So Im still waiting for my book, they have took my money and my girlfriend wont receive her present tomorrow.
Its the first and last time I'll use bookdepository.co.uk.

Many, if not all internet book companies keep very low stocks and order books in as required. The stock levels they report online are often those of their wholesaler. If the book ordered arrives damaged they would need to reorder or send you damaged goods.
I've used this firm a couple of times without problems, but had the same problem with another company.0 -
Yikes.
Give them another email im sure they will be happy to help.
Ive used Book depository about 20 times (uni books) and only once had a problem, and they seemed really eager to help me sort it,offering me a full refund there n then, or a replacement.0
