Anyway, last night a person posted admitting to being an ebay trader, very honest, and that person was directed to the ebay site a member has set up for people to swap or sell their spare items (at RRP). Had a look at this traders website this morning and although they are starting their hamsters at 99p, they are also selling them on a buy it now for £25.99. Hence the moral of the story is, be careful who you are selling your items to at the RRP, because they could be then selling them on themselves at a much higher price - and you may as well do that yourself and at least get some small profit to pay for your trouble...

I'm glad someone else has spotted that going on - I've pointed it out a few times on the thread when I've spotted it but nobody seems that concerned - I guess if people are happy for that to happen - as a poster said yesterday - I would only sell them on ebay myself if not on here

Personally it would make me a bit cross - someone else profiting from my hard work and generosity but each to their own

On the ebay group people seem to be swapping more than selling which is really nice to see/hear.

Hi I'm new to this forum although have been lurking for a few days now and have decided to join the madness!
I've just phoned character-online customer services and was told that hamsters and accessories will be going on the website after today, I asked to clarify that there will be none today and she said yes.
She then said that there will be more stock before Xmas when this stock has presumably sold out!
Whether this is true I don't know but I think I'll still be watchig the site juast in case!

Back from Wilkinson, thought they might have had some Hamsters today as they had stock in online yesterday but there was nothing there. As I was coming out after buying Washing Up Liquid, the woman on the CS Desk was on the phone and looking at her screen and I saw Go Go Hamsters up on the screen so someone had obviously rung up about them. As I walked past I just heard her say 'if you quote that number...' so am assuming they were saying that if she rings up again to quote the item number as last week when I asked the same woman she didn't know what on earth they were.
