To be fair to that seller, they did start the listing at 0.99pence but it does make you wonder if they work for a store or went in there and filled their trolley up just to resell.
There is someone on ebay at the moment selling all four hamsters with a buy it now option of £300!!! Greedy people like that leave themselves wide open to fee bombing, which I am surprised hasn't been mentioned on the ebay q & a board yet.0 -
what does "fee bombing" on ebay mean?0

well lets face it, the seller would have a pretty good idea that the item would sell for more than face value and by listing it at 99p they save themselves a large starting price fee. It will probably sell for at least £300.00.0

what does "fee bombing" on ebay mean?
When you sell something on ebay you pay a final valuation fee based on what the item sold for.
It's 10% for private sellers I think up to £40 of a final sale if the buyer doesnt pay etc.
When a buyer doesn't pay and a dispute is raised then the buyer has the option to click that they don't want the item. Fee bombing is when they do click to say the want the item or that they've paid by cash on collection and the seller gets stitched up by having to pay the final valuation fee.
It's a nasty practice which is rarely seen but I know someone who got caught out by it a few years ago.Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.0 -
Very/ Woolworths/ Additions/ Empire/ Marshallward etc are pretty much one and the same.
I've only ever heard of Woolworths out of that lot!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
do sellers up date their stock in the day time or is it generally first and last thing in the day?0

Seeing how quickly that secondhand auction just went, it is worth keeping an eye out for more second hand 'bargains'.
It is true that some very small children only play with something once but I predict that some parents will sell used go go hamsters and accessories in return for a quick profit.
After all they can then rebuy after christmas when prices go down.Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.0
