I know exactly how you feel! This is why I started the group on ebay, not just because we couldn't sell or swap on here but so that fair minded people can help each other and not profit from other's desperation in finding a toy for their children in time for christmas.

After all this is what it is all about - our children.

Ok I know they won't die if they don't get one but sadly the world we live in today is influenced by advertising and none of us want our children to be left out.

I also think it is a great little toy as it encourages nurturing and caring and children using their imaginations as they play with the hamster and/or the accessories.

It's not too bad a price at that. I have just added up the RRP of what is for sale and get it to approx £135, which if you added on all the postage cost we are paying, I would think my stuff came to that amount or even more. To get it all in one go makes it quite worthwhile. (No it isn't my listing)

I was just adding it all up to and made it around £130 ish too!

To be fair to that seller, they did start the listing at 0.99pence but it does make you wonder if they work for a store or went in there and filled their trolley up just to resell.

There is someone on ebay at the moment selling all four hamsters with a buy it now option of £300!!! Greedy people like that leave themselves wide open to fee bombing, which I am surprised hasn't been mentioned on the ebay q & a board yet.

I work at a Tesco Extra and have checked the stock situation EVERY day - I know that our store and many others have discontinued the Hamsters simply because of the lack of stock coming from the warehouses.

Basically customers services can look at the order screen and see that the system has reordered and that stock is due in (which is correct) what they cannot tell you is that the warehouse has NO stock to send
I think Tesco will sort out its online business first before we slowly start to see them trickle into the stores, I will keep checking for signs of further stock arriving.

If youre just gonna rip them out of the boxes on xmas day does it matter if you have the boxes anyway
