Yes it does seem to be a nationwide thing - I was told the same thing at Nottingham and Sheffield's shops.

Glad TRU are going to restrict stock so no-one can get a trolley load. Shame if you've got more than 1 child to buy for tho!

Wow, logged on about 20 mins ago and have just had to read about 6 pages of posts just left today.

Took eldest two to school and then baby and I went to Wilkinson, they didn't have anything on the shelves where they were the other day so I asked at the Till, the lady had never heard of them but another sales assistant did and she looked them up and said they get a delivery of stuff later in the week.

Then we went to Toys R Us and they didn't have anything just inside the door where the carriers were last week, as I was walking round to where they have another bit where the Go Go Hamster houses were a few weeks ago I saw a Sales Assistant with a man following behind with a trolley and she went over to the bit just inside the door and said 'this is where they normally are but they don't have any', I just knew when I saw them both walking up that way that that was what he was after, so I followed but she left him at the Till and I came out.

The Manager was at the Customer Service desk so I asked if they were getting any Go Go Pets stuff in this week and he said towards the end of the week so I said 'Thursday/Friday' and he said more likely Friday and that they don't know what they are getting just that they are getting some stock from the Manufacturer so I shall check again on Friday after dropping the kids at school and maybe again in the afternoon when OH is home I'll pop back on my own.

That seems a bit harsh of TRU - what would happen if you wanted for example a hamster, a house plus add ons and accessories?? I could understand 1 of each particular item but not just 1 go go item per customer!

ps. I'd be OK tho as only looking for the ball! :rotfl:
