Look back thru previous posts as this subject has already been well covered.

I don't want to come across as rude but we are now on page 26, could you please kindly point in a page number direction because so far all I can find is info on where to order and where has stock but nothing about the ball.

Please can anyone clarify if there is anything special about the ball?

It's just I'm thinking of getting a ball from a pet shop, 1. it's cheaper and 2. it's in stock.

There is a small plastic stabiliser in the set that keeps the hamster from falling over. A pet shop ball wouldnt work. Also you get the little ball that the hamster shoves around with its nose when in the house.

    Thanks for the info.
I bought the house in ToysRus today but am undecided between the ball or the car:confused:

Personally I would recommend trying to get the slide or wheel, it looks like more for the money and costs the same as the car, the car garage, wheel or the slide actually connect to the funhouse making the house a bit more exciting. The car reviews say its not good on carpet, I havent tried it but I'm expecting it will go slowly on our carpet as its not very thick if you have carpet its worth considering if the car will be any good, kids are easily upset if something doesnt work well. The ball is great but doesnt extend the house in any way. HTH

edit just seen your last post, it is actually quite big, the house alone is 70cm long.
oh thats not too bad then, i just had visions of this crappy little plastic tubing being opened on christmas morning! I think i'll get her the wheel to go with it, these little things seem to go off on their own as well outside of the accessory kit, is that correct?

Go onto the character-online website http://www.character-online.com/products/Go-Go-Hamsters/Go-Go-Hamster-Playset-Adventure-Ball/ Its says it is out of stock. However, they are not listing items at the minute until they get their post arrangements sorted. If you give them a ring, 0161 633 9808 they may be able to tell you if they actually do have the balls in stock (or any other items for that matter) and when they are going to list them. When they listed a load of stock the other day, most of it went very quickly. We were all constantly refreshing the website pages from early morning and they didn't list till around 3.45pm! don't bother clicking on the link to get them to let you know when it is in stock as they didn't send any e mails out last time and also even when I e mailed them directly, they didn't respond.

Have you seen the video? This video is easier to see, the house is the 2 circular centre bits, they have the wheel running off which comes with the pink tube, and the slide runs off with the blue tube those tubes come with the accessory not the house. The orange bit is the car garage, can you see how that doesnt really extend the house much. The other bit they have on there is the surfboard which comes with the ball sleepdome. One thing I will say is that kids will move them when they are stuck but if you leave them to work themselves out they do turn themselves most of the time.

I am no expert but I did check out loads of reviews and videos to see what the fuss was abut before getting sucked in. :rotfl:

Oh and forgot to add inside the tubes, and floor there are little notches which alert the hamster to its whereabouts so it makes the noises according to what its doing, they make teeth brushing and toilet brushing sounds when in the bathroom bit (this is a sticker on the floor of house) and the whizzing and wooing noises are set off the same way. My friend has the set thats how I've seen this lol
