  • I'm pleased to see that no one has bought from the seller on ebay who has buy it now prices for each of the four hamsters at £59.99.

I have them on my watch list and I will be shocked if anyone does pay this much for one.
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.

  • On ebay.com (not uk) they have custom made pj's and sleeping bags for the hamsters which are easily made from scrap fabric. I can't give a link but here is the auction number of one...

  • For those that can't get hold of the accessories but have a hamster, a bit of imagination goes along way. I wouldn't recommend this for use by a younger child but these are cute and easy to copy....

130343930195 and 130344379237 these are a really cute idea and so easily made.

Not on the UK site but in the US where they are big on handmade items.

For young children instead of a neck strap, a small carry handle like a mini handbag would be a good idea.

I have been round all the supermarkets in Gatwick/Crawley area today, dragging my 3 yr old and 1 yr old, only to find empty spaces on the shelves? If only I had got her one when she originally mentioned it a couple of months ago...

She is going to be a nightmare on xmas day if I don't find her one? So if anyone knows of anywhere in west sussex that has some I would be really grateful? I am turning into a useless mother who is spending hours a day on the computer just trying to find a damn hamster!

My area exactly, I went around the shops yesterday but found nothing! The toy shop in the county mall had them unitl Wednesday. Annoyingly I had 3 hamsters in my hand at Tesco Hookwood last Friday and only bought one as I didnt think my 6 year old wanted any! Alas, he has seen me online and said "those are on the tele they are great id love some!" So ive joined the frenzy.
Thanks to the guys on here I have one of each hamster (less Mr squiggles)coming from Character and a fun house and surfboard U bend and 2 x carry cases coming from John Lewis. I also almost had more from Tesco this morning but being greedy trying to get more for my sister in law for my nephew I lost the lot!
This thread will give you all the information you need to find them without leaving the house!
Wilkinsons is opening in Redhill in 2 weeks, im sure they will have them on their launch day!
Be patient, im sure you will get some

Saturday night is always a 'things going for lower' night because people are glued to the tv or out on the town so there are less people hovering to make a last minute bid frenzy.
