Thanks Ellasmummy, I got the orange carrier and blanket!! Also ordered 2 hamsters for £7.99 each on Amazon this morning and it says they are being prepared for despatch! Looks like I may be able to cancel my Play and World Wide Shopping Mall orders, but will let you all know when I do so you can look out for them!

Well, I am just sitting here reflecting upon you folks thinking that I am mad finding stock that you didn't see with all your refreshes.

I think that the moral of the story is not just to refresh the Hamster search page, but keep the individual product page bookmarked:T or use a stock checking site :rolleyes:

I saw the FunHouse for sale for quite a while on Harrods and posted the link that you guys couldn't get to. In fact I went all the way to checkout.

Just a thought, but maybe they can hide the page from the general public search to allow staff or account holders to pre-order or something like that?

Who knows, but someone bought them and it seems like it wasn't MSEers.

Just been told that Character will be moving their site onto a bigger server this weekend at some point.

Anyway, it will mean some down time at some point when the site will be unavailable.

I know no more than that.

I generally make sure i have the product page for each site open but i never had Harrods up and couldn't find anything on a Go Go search. I won't be around tomorrow so i am sure i will miss some stressy moments but my son's surgery comes first - providing i can get off island!!

I was logged into my Harrods account and although I was only refreshing every 5 minutes, for the time it was available according to the stock checker, I couldn't have missed it, so may be LIZDAV is right, it might only have shown to certain people in the industry.

Of course that is the right priority to attend to your child.

But on the Hamster search, bookmark all the product pages now .. they may not show up tomorrow on a search, but there could still be product offered on them as I saw today.
