just ordered a mr squiggles from play states order taken at checkout,,dont have a wilkinsons in ayr but one is opening up in irvine about 12 miles away on the 18th november so will probably try their as well ,,,,,,

I can see it now, there will be a queue round the block and a race to the shelves, then the first one there will tip everything into their trolley :rotfl:

I was speaking to the lady in Boots yesterday and she said as soon as they put their 48 hamsters on the shelf, some woman came along and grabbed the whole lot - needless to say they made her put them back. However, I presume all she needed to do was wait till that member of staff disappeared and she would have just grabbed some more and taken them to a different till (they had allowed a max of 9 each on 3 for 2 so she would have just needed to keep grabbing 9 and taking them to different tills!).

I've just got back from town, and got a car and garage from Argos (reserved). Walked into Asda, and there was a slide and 2 different hamsters! I thought all my Christmases had come at once!!

Speaking to a couple of lovely shop managers - Asda direct stuff came into stock as she was checking the system but she couldn't order for me. Asda main distribution ARE getting more stock for the shops - it should land early next week on the shelves.
Similar story for Wilkos - Warehouse is due to receive on Monday, with most stores getting it by Thursday. She said if I go in on Monday after it's arrived in the warehouse she'll try to reserve one for me.
Argos have lots of stuff showing in stock, but it's on reservation, so you might be lucky there.
I have a reservation number for a car to be collected at Bromborough Argos if anyone wants it - have to get it today.

I'm happy with what I've got now - anything else I find is a bonus - as long as the Tesco funhouse actually turns up - had another text to say it's tomorrow now.

I just had a call from Tesco Direct telling me my order for the house is ready to be picked up and also managed to get the car from Play.com this morning which now says "packing". Really grateful to you all I would never have managed this without you! you are making two little girls very happy this Christmas!

Still hunting for carriers and other add-ons but at least the girls will have some of the set for Christmas!

Well they definitely had them because I ordered one for one of my friends online and selected deliver to the store. That was one day and it was ready for collection in the store after 2pm the next day (yesterday). Good service me thinks :T

Do you know how long Tesco hold them for? I stupidly selected collect from store, and now my car's off the road.
