I had that too. I emailed them and it was in the store. They said that I hadn't provided a phone number when I had. I didn't have any problem picking it up in store though. My status didn't change either- it still hasn't even though I've now got it.

OK - maybe a bit o/t, but now I'm concerned. I have managed to get hamsters for my three girls (Wilkos today) and have also got them a car each (Argos, reserved last night). However looking at the packging I'm worried that the cars won't work without the house etc etc. Could anybody please offer me some advice?!? I thought a car and hamster each would work for fairness and peace but now I'm not sure.

The garage definitlely connect to the house....or 3 garages could connect to a house and be a 3 garage house, but afraid I don't know how they stand up on their own.

Yes looking at all my past orders for store collection with Wilko it says the same.

Was a bit concerned as last time I ordered from them in their half price sale they took the money and then emailed me to say they didn't have the stock though I was able to order and pay for the item.

Looking bit more hopeful this time - will call my local store tomorow

Thanks for that advice. Now I'm in a quandry! I have three garages and no house. Do I sell the garages or look for a house?... hmmm. Not relishing the thought of hunting for the house - might just take a laid back approach. I can see this becoming all consuming...

You don't need 3 garages. If I was you I'd keep one and take 2 back and buy a house instead - you only need one house. Keep and eye out at your local toysrus or argos as they are your best bet. After xmas there will be loads of stock again so you can always buy more things to add onto the house then. www.character-online.com will be listing more houses (and skateboards, surfboards and balls) soon so keep a close eye on this forum as no doubt someone will post when they are listed - probably around 18 - 19/11 - and they will sell out within minutes due to the demand. Go and register on their website and if you want to try and get stuff when its listed, then you can get through the check out quicker if you are already logged in. don't bother clicking on 'inform me when in stock' because due to the current demand, they don't. if you get the chance, the slide and wheel are the other 2 items that join onto the house that you could get and you can also get the hamster beds and carriers. If you read back through the posts for say the last week, you'll get an idea of what to get and where you might be able to look for it.

I also got an email from tesco today regarding the mark up on the playsets. I got 2 last week (skate & surf) and paid almost double the RRP. The email today was basically word for word to the one posted earlier. They are however sending me a £20 Tesco Moneycard in the post. This roughly equals the mark up for each playset I bought.

So have to give Tesco a big thumbs up for doing the right thing.

So far, I have the house, garage, slide, wheel, 2 hammys (white and yellow) 2 carriers, 2 beds, skate and surf. Would love to get a ball or two but resigned myself to having to wait till after Christmas. Still I'm happy with my bundle, and have paid RRP for everything so far.

toysrus watford have no balls but they do have wheels i live miles away from here, and they wont do a store transfer.
