Oh I see, thank you for that, its a minefield this hamster lark isnt it????
You watch, they will all be in the bargain buckets in the sales come January!!!!

It's quite sad to think that these highly desired hamsters may one day end up being chewed by a dog; be given to a charity shop; lay squashed and unplayed with at the bottom a toy chest; be thrown and broken by a child having a tantrum; trod on by a very overweight grandma as was the case with my son's Action man one christmas; be drooled upon by a small child; be sicked upon by an unwell child and the worse fate of all be accidently placed inside a washing machine!
Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.

I'm fully expecting my daughter's hamster to be dropped into her orange juice on boxing day.

Yeah.. I'm a little worried he'll look grubby - but he's just adorable.
My daughter's not too keen on Mr S. I agree. He looks kinda boring.

He was my least favourite to begin with along with Pipsqueak (she just looks too girly for my boys!). I preferred NumNums and they were my first 2 purchases but after being on here for a while Chunk stole a little place in my heart and i went ahead and bought 2 of him too. He is kinda cute! :D

I liked Mr S too but now i agree he does look like the boring older hamster of the 4!! :rotfl:

Oh and i have checked my house tonight - all looks present and correct and no broken bits. May check slide and garage another night but as long as we have the house with the other stuff then we are ok!!
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

I didn't like Pipsqueak - I'm not sure why. But my daughter loves him - and my sister is crazy about it (and she's 21!)

Re argos - I think if you cant get a hamster with your house you should take your house receipt when you pick up your hamster (whenever you manage to track one down). That way you should get it for half price. I had this problem as I had a house in stock at one store and the hamster at a different store and it was no problem. hth.xx ;)
