I think it is a disgrace the way people are making a huge profit out of this whole thing esp the person who has already sold over 330 raffle tickets charity ok yes charity fair enough but even so why did the seller buy these if the first place its obviously just to make a bit fat profit out of it....
And these other scumbags who are making money out of the Argos reservation codes on ebay oooh they make me so angry!!!!!!!

Got mine from character since then so maybe headed the swapsies way if it does get sent out.

Well said. RRP £40. Selling 500 tickets and donating 60% still means he pockets £180 after fees.
I doubt the raffle is even fair. Just a bogus account declared as a winner.
Hope they stop this but then they still keep their £330.

I have been reporting all these raffles for days as have a few other MSErs - unfortunately all ebay keep saying is that they cant possibly remove all auctions breaching listing policies as there are justtoo mnay.
If you click on her feedback you will see someone left a neg trying to warn others but ptople are being sucked in that its all for charity.
When if you look at the listing she is automatically donating 10% but has said she will donate 75% if all tickets are sold, but this will be done manually - yeah righ tpull the other one it has bells on it.
Funny - onion has written an email to the gambling commision pointing out that ebay are blatantly allowing ebayers to break both ebay rules and english law by allowing them to raffle items without a license.
If we all keep reporting then surely they have to do something about it.
Me and Funny onion hope that the gambling commision take it seriously which they should and contact ebay direct, they might even take legal action. Ebay could end up with a fine.
It would be easy for ebay to put something on the site like they do for counterfeits and tickets.
I have also asked ebay to make an announcement about these auctions and how they are actually scams but alas nothing has arose, mainly i feel because ebay are using the ''there's to many to remove them all' as a get out clause as they are raking the fee's in for both ebay and paypal.
This particular auction had been removed earleir as i clicked on it and it said it was no longer available but somehow it has popped straight back up again.
This seller also had 2 other auction - 1 for a house and i cant remeber the other, but she has loads and loads of hamster items for sale.
I dont know how she sleeps at night but she obviously does, i believe in karma what goes around comes around and all that.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Yeah I guess she's all heart. You can tell that as shes got the full set of 4 hamsters for sale - buy it now at £120 plus p&p. Glad to see she's got no bids on any of the items she's selling. Thats prob why she's trying the new raffle scam :mad:0 -
