I have a surfboard/sleep dome which I am seriously considering putting on ebay, just to be able to fund a playball from there, as that seems the only way I am likely to get one at this rate. My DD is only wanting a Num Nums and a ball - got Nums Nums dead easy but the ball is the swine! I feel really bad for thinking of doing it, but I'd rather do that than have a disappointed child on Xmas Day.

Of course if anyone has a ball they'd like to swap for a surfboard...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • I've Still had no call from Mr Cuddy, i've been waiting all day for the call:rotfl::rotfl:
My order is still pending dispatch, i only ordered a ball, so i'm still none the wiser.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't think that's very fair as there must be tons of people on here selling stuff on ebay, whether it was spare stuff or stuff they bought to sell. Its up to each individual to decide what they want to do with their purchases, and everyone has had the same opportunity to purchase stock as it has arisen and they have paid the same money as we all have. Many I think have done it to try and fund the cost of the items they cannot get a hold of and so are having to resort to ebay themselves or to try and make something toward the money they've spent on their own individual items for their children - as we all know, it is very expensive and a lot of people just don't have that sort of money to spend, but still want their children to have what is on their lists to santa. So we should not pick on one individual person, who by the looks of it is a very good seller with over 1000 stars and a 100% feedback rating and that is hard to achieve. I'm sure that person has actually posted before saying they sell things on ebay so they haven't tried to pretend they don't.

Yes, you're quite right of course, though is always interesting to have a nosey!! I think we were just surprised to see 2 complete sets go but as you say, you never know people's circumstances so shouldn't jump in to judge.
Slimming World weight lost so far...5 stone 1 lb :T STS this week :(.....
  • As I said earlier, most of my stuff has been bought at RRP save the ball which cost £19.99.

If I sold it all at e-bay prices I could probably afford to take at least one child to lapland for Christmas... Hmmm... Hamsters or Santa Claus? It's a tough one!

Actually, scrap that... DH and I could go to Lapland for Christmas without the children. Now that really is tempting!

but in reality, once you have paid ebay fees and paypal fees and postage, there wouldnt be that much profit left imho. Just imagine your kids faces on christmas day..... makes it all worthwhile!

Oh and Santa isnt getting ANY credit for this hammy hunt...... this has been mummy and daddys hard work!!!! (Oh and an add on each from grandad - dad got away lightly there - told me to buy it and he would pay for it LOL)
