I had another heated discussion with boots.com today about them cancelling the houses I'd ordered on 3 for 2 because they'd run out of stock (they confirmed the order but sent me a cancellation e mail the day before delivery date!). Got nowhere though. They did provide a useful insight though, their buy it now is not updated according to stock levels in real time i.e. accounting for orders placed, so that means anything that is ordered from there that looks like it is in stock, may actually not be. What a rubbish system!

I had the same thing with John Lewis - my stuff was supposed to be in today to pick up after 2pm but they phoned me about 12 to say that it was out of stock - i had even had an email that morning confirming it was on its way!
  • Would like to say a big thanks to MaxiM & co for the regular updates of stock.
I got my 4 hamsters a couple of weeks back and have been scurrying all over Edinburgh and surrounds for the rest of the set.
Got hamsters & car from toysrus Kinnaird
Ball, skateboard & beds from various sainsburys (Gorgie, Craigleith, Cameron Toll)
Funhouse, reserved online, bought from Argos Linlithgow
Spiral, carriers and wheel from toysrus Kirkcaldy.
I have bought the surfboard from play.com but they are awaiting stock.

Not a bad haul in 2 weeks or so with not too much effort(thanks to you guys)

FYI, ToysRUs at Kirkcaldy had a fair bit of stock as off 1900hrs today(5th).
No Hamsters but around 50 each of houses, spirals, wheels, cars. They also had plenty of carriers/blankets & beds/blankets, various colours.
They were located just as you went in the door and also beside the girls toys, middle of the store.

    Good luck all!!
  • Wilkinsons HUYTON had a couple of funhouses in store today if that helps anyone.

  • Hi, have been following this thread as I have also being trying to locate the elusive bed and blanket sets. Have just come back from Toys R Us in Coventry, and they had approx 6 beds and blanket sets in orange, green and purple and one carrier set. I hope this helps someone.

Does anyone have any more info on Tesco 3 for 2 sale please? My mum still needs to buy lego for my 3 youngest but we can meet tommorow at Tesco if I know it is on for certain (I can just imagine her eyes rolling if not ;) ). Thankyou!

I saw 3 hamsters on the shelf at WH Smith in Bedford today, no accessories at all though and not sure of price (everything else in there was a few pounds more than other shops though).

My local Toys r us still has an aisle end with hamster things on, mostly the slides etc, no balls, blankets or beds though.

has been confirmed on another thread that the 3for2 at tesco will be on from 2mara

Been getting my daily hamster fix :rotfl:having a mosey around the usual sites. Nothing terribly exciting to report (well, I suppose that depends if you are just new and are looking for the basics), but this is the few things I found tonight:

    http://www.hoorayfortoys.co.uk

    Hamsters only

    http://www.littlewoods.com
    http://www.empirestores.co.uk
    http://www.woolworths.co.uk

I'm sure these 3 are all the same site really!

    Hamsters
    Car / garage

    http://www.argos.co.uk

Car in stock for home delivery

    http://www.hamleys.com

    Hamsters
    House

    http://www.harrods.com

    House – cheaper than Hamleys

    http://www.toymastershop.co.uk

Hamster - 'Chunk' only - aw, he must be really lonely!!!
