I ordered from Cuddy's and havent heard anything. I did choose priority shipping though as I know in the past that has made a difference. Fingers crossed!

Confession I've bought mine from ebay, got the hamsters I wanted and a ball. I didn't actually pay too much over the asking price for them either.

Why, convenience really. I've spent far too many years driving about all hours day and night searching for hard to find pressies near to christmas. I want an easy life and get very frustrated re websites crashing, getting to checkout and products disappearing from my basket, it happens year in year out.

I fell foul to a rogue website as well one year and had to cancel my debit card which caused me loads of problems and stress. Thankfully it was blocked before the fraudulent website could access my money. Please be aware they will start to spring up round about now as an opportunity to cash in on people's desperation.

Some tips if you do wish to go down the ebay road.

Search Go Go Pets rather than Go Go Hamster.....

On buy it now search on least amount inc.post and packing. Check feedback.

Some of the bundles of 4 hamsters are quite good value, (rather than buying singularly) consider clubbing together with friends/family if you buy a set, maybe 2 hamsters each.

Just my thoughts....now the hamsters have been on prime time tv people are becoming more aware and therefore more people will be chasing them. Many people will not start proper christmas shopping until payday, usually the last banking day of the month....but then expect all hell to break loose.

I cannot tall you the number of times I've said I'll wait for the price to go down or stock to come in and it simply hasn't happened....my advice, try to get your hamsters as early as you can, if you can.

If you spend money on petrol, parking etc continously exhausting yourself walking miles through supermarkets and shops trying to find your hamsters its not really fun or indeed moneysaving....;)

Just had a call from cuddys. They have sold out of accessories and cannot complete my order. All they can send me is a hamster so i have cancelled the whole thing as i don't really need another hamster

I have a feeling we will not be able to get any accessories soon they seem to be rapidly disappearing from online shops... I have no hope of finding a wheel at rrp.
