Right Fellow hammie hunters, while i've been sat here this morning, i've just finished my xmas shopping for the rest of my childrens bits and pieces online.:T:T

Hopefully when i get all my hammy deliveries i will have all 4 hammies, a house, and a car and garage. :T:T I would love a ball, but as there like gold dust its time to step away from the lappy and go and do some real work.

But as i have hamsteritis still, and no-one seems to have found a cure for it i will just have to keep checking occasionaly:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Happy hammie Hunting to you all:rotfl:

Well done you. I was all done with Xmas shopping a few weeks ago until i saw the Daily Mail Ad for these hamsters - now my bank is near £170 down - the kids better play with them for at least a week!! :rotfl: And where will we put it all!!!!:confused:
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

I have read somewhere before that Winkie, Jilly, Scoodles, and Nugget might be out before Christmas in the USA but not sure about the UK.

To be honest I would hope that the manufacturer would sort out the current range issues before they dedicate any capacity to the new ones - that said they are currently making 220,000 units per day across four chinese factories according to a US shopping site! Mind you it also said that Cepia plan to add 50 more hamsters next year - can you imagine the frenzy!!

50 more hamsters!!....please don't say next year we'll all still be hamster hunting hehe although I am escaping to australia for 6 months! so at least I won't be getting hamster headaches out there! :)

I just read that too. But it would be consistent to expect that there will be no new funhouses or anything other than hamsters.

The only deliveries are to Character in the first instance and they were only getting hamsters in this week.

I am guessing that the stock that Character released to others was probably less than 1/10th of what Argos could shift in a day .. so even if Character did send it all to Argos, finding a funhouse will still be a race.

Oh ... and forget the car ... discussed many times all stock distributed and no deliveries until 2010.

Sorry to be so negative ... but good luck anyway.

Thanks very much for all your help , other than the houses is it likely any of the other add ons will be available ? Just thinking of hitting my local TRU tom.
I know you said it unlikely the carriers and beds will be here before xmas.

I just feel pretty stupid though. Didn't think getting the hamster at RRP would be so difficult.

Dont wanna go down the inflated ebay prices yet

i was so lucky to get one last night, it just popped up in an argos near me and i very quickly reserved! i'd say checking there is your best bet! im kicking myself because i spotted one in my local tesco a couple of weeks ago, before i was aware of the frenzy surrounding them!wish i had got it then, would have happily sorted it for someone on here to get for rrp. definately not going down the ebay route either..its ridiculous! especially considering, and im sure we'll all agree, that in 2 months these hamsters will hardly be played with!
    children wetting the bed?

    electric blanket...they'll soon learn ;)

Thanks. I'm only looking for the play accessories now. Not vital but it'd be a nice bonus if I did come across any. Are the accessories that are turning up in dribs and drabs in places like Asda living ones that have just been dispatched via Character or ones that stores have had for a while and only just put out on the shelves?

Re: the hamsters, out of interest does that mean that Argos could only have got these 10,000 hamsters through Character, rather than flying them in themselves?

Not to mention at least £500 to spend on these critters!

Hooray have put the hamsters and funhouses on the website...out of stock must be going to list them at some stage soon (as per my earlier post)- they normally list in the earlyish evenings so I would keep an eye on the website today (Wednesday evening) and if not, tomorrow (Thursday evening) just in case.

For those of you wondering about Hooray, I did list this in the early hours of this morning. Latest news is that it could well be this evening and hopefully after the kids have gone to bed. Carol hasn't decided yet and is going to get back to me. Once I know, i'll post on the forum...

Previous restrictions on no repeat orders (for the same items), no bulk orders (prob one of each item - or may be just one hamster full stop - not sure yet), and no more than one order to the same address / person etc etc will still apply. The address must also match the credit card so you can't get away with ordering and getting it delivered to a different address.

I doubt that it is 50 hamsters,

but Cepia have announced pland to have chipmunk, rabbit, hedgehog and squirrel ranges in the future, so suspect that 50 includes those 'new' toys.
