I did open them and peek and I'm sure they were right, but going to have to go and double check now. Back in a mo! :rotfl:

I emailed Character to advise that boxes were containing the wrong products - they said they would pass my comments on to the manufacturer! I thought they were the manufacturer???:confused::confused:

I take it you've actually opened the boxes, and aren't just going by the printing on the outside? I had an adventure ball box, with a surfboard inside![/QUOTE]

Yes we need to actually check it is what it says on the box! ;)

Also a lot of posters are checking that they have the correct connections/parts etc... as some sets have had bit's missing!

It's not easy this hamster lark is it!

I went through all my boxes the night before last - to make sure they were what they said they were - and the ball has the stabiliser. I haven't checked the complete contents as didn't think i would get some of it back in the box the right way - mainly the slide and house - here's hoping there is nothing missing on Xmas morning.
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A

Character are the importers/distributors for the UK. The manufacturer is Cepia,a small US co.

Go Go Hamsters are made by Cepia LLC (same people who made Glo-e bear I think) in St Louis - Character Online I guess have the distribution agreement for the UK - (I know its sad but I work in Procurement).

I had a quick look at ebay.com and it appears there is a shortage of stock in the USA as well - typically they are going for around $35 dollars so it would be less cost effective than getting from ebay UK.

I guess we all have another 3 weeks of checking the stockchecker and crossing fingers!!

    Pleased for you!! :T

I am going to give up with the battle for the ball - it's just too stressful. Will just hope and pray that my DD will be happy to try and get one after Christmas.
