Hi

I have been really caught up in this hamster craze. Up until two weeks ago my 6 year old was adamant that he wanted a real hamster. When go go's first turned up on play.com (at the normal price) i said what about these? he was not interested. Now when finding go go's is almost impossible thats what he wants. So far we have managed to get a Chunk, and each time i get an item into a basket somewhere the server either goes into meltdown or it becomes oos. I only really want to get maybe one more hamster, the fun house and and accessory or two. So for the time being I'm one of you on the Great Hamster Hunt of 2009

Couple of points in replies to posts.

The wind up poster who keeps mentioning Llanelli asda having daily stock, its rubbish, my mum lives near there and has been there a few times trying to get bits for my dd & my niece she's never seen a single item since I posted this thread, so unless said poster is camping outside to see this stuff, they must only be getting drip fed stock if they are even getting any as a lot of people say oh my local such and such had loads last week...erm yea last week, we can already see that seeing something 1 hour ago is too late and the stock situation is only getting worse.

The person who asked about Yorkshire toy company, check your account order history, the despatch date will show on your order detail if you haven't received an email.

The size of the hamsters, I think is ideal for small hands, real hamsters are only tiny, if they were big they might resemble something out of a film where they take over the city and eat everyone....OMG isn't that already happening!!! :eek:

awwwww makes me want to buy a couple!!! I didnt have kids when they hit ( I was only 17!) but can remember wanting one!

Glad you got what you ordered from MOE though

Gives me a bit of hope that they may have despatched what I ordered and not just a completely different random item as others have experienced!

Did you pay for standard delivery and what date did you order? I am still waiting for deliveries from orders place on 19th and 20th! Also if you are feeling gutted have a look at what they will be charging when they come back into stock £24.99:eek: same for the ball!:eek:
