I think poor old Chunky is a victim of hamster discrimination!!!0

I've ordered these handmade beds for my 2 girls... I'm sure they love them and fortunately at 5 & 3 they are too young to know they're not 'official'

I have 2 daughters so brought them one hamster each and one car each, believing you didn't need the house, managed to get a house on sunday thanks to horray, but do I need 2 cars? lol
Not really - unless you want a double garage on the house!
Stick it on ebay - then perhaps you could use any profit towards a different overpriced add-on!
If my order from MOE is a surfboard and not a ball when I pick it up tomorrow I am contemplating being naughty and sending them back the skateboard I already have (as it looks like a piece of tat) and getting them to refund the money I paid for the ball.
A kind of add on exchange so to speak - having said that don't want the surfboard only the ball and there is no way I would have paid double the RRP for any of the other hamster bits.
Really riles me that people are paying over the RRP and these companies can't even send the correct product! :mad:0 -
I think Character Online and the manufacturer should shoulder the blame for ridiculous pricing as the whole issue is supply and demand, and it has either been poorly managed/forecasted or deliberately manipulated in the supply chain to inflate pricing.
I really cannot believe MOE though - you might expect it of some ebayers but for an established business like that to raise pricing to a level similar to ebay is distasteful. I think for established businesses like MOE the UK top level agent should insist that stock cannot be sold greater than RRP as part of their supply agreement.
Ideal world and all that though.0 -

It's just so bad that people are so desperately trying to find these items, only to discover that it's not the right part in the packaging! I'm just glad I checked it in a way, although I am gutted now, I would have had a desperately upset little girl on Xmas morning. At least now, I have time to try and convince her that a surfboard will be cooler than a ball!!
Seriously thinking about telling her the Adventure Ball Elves went on strike and we'll get one when they resolve their contract issues, lol! She'll understand that as we are in Leeds and haven't had our bins emptied in 2 months!!![/QUOTE]
I saw that on the news last night - yuck! how awful for you! - no christmas tip for your dustman then!:D
My 2 don't even know there is a ball involved but have got most of the other hamster stuff (started in Sept) and thought the ball looked the best of all the add-ons but OH persuaded me the fun house was better - oh well! not the end of the world.
Just really annoying that they seem to be doing their best to wind us up!0 -
I HAVE TO AGREE ABOUT THE SURFBOARD........i opened mine and thought they had given me a mcdonalds happy meal toy by mistake!!!
:rotfl:I don't have the surfboard only the skateboard and that is tat!
Obviously the surfboard is no better then!
God I really hope it is the ball that I ordered0 -
