  • So lizdav do you think there is no chance of getting the ball or surfboard on line before Christmas? Are you the people who run zhuzhuhamster.co.uk search? If so what a great website.

Just logged in for the first time since Friday afternoon and
the thread is 220 pages longer - no way I'll be able to catch
up with that! I've been out in the real world getting some other
christmas shopping done and didn't see any hamster stuff in
Glasgow at all. There is a new Hamleys store opening there on
Thursday 26th November so that will probably be worth a look.

Guys been watching the thread from a far and just registered, I have had no luck what so ever regarding getting these in previous weeks saw they have gone in stock at bubbleimages.com so managed to buy Mr Squiggles and a bed, they still have stock i think

My daughter is going to be so happy, need chunk and pipsquek for her now

    Hi
This may be spam like someone said but ive seen go go on other smaller independant websites , where they probably have to pay higher wholesale price as they are smaller than nationals and buy less.
Character said today they are sending to independants and nationals which is why they will probably pop up all over the place .Its like people have been saying the buyer and demand that drives the price .
Im still looking for the ball like so many others r.

the new sainsburys at braehead had about 15 hamsters this morning, they had all 4.

My sister bought some there last night.

I just bought a sk8board from tesco silverburn.

Still on the hunt for a house tho.

Hiya did they have a few skateboards at Silverburn? Still looking for one myself :)

  • yes Stebiz I thought it maybe but haven't had the time lately to be on here as much as I'd like. I'm mainly back on here because I rang Mailorderexpress to see where my ball and surfboard was for them to tell me that even though they have taken my money, the item was out of stock. And no they didn't tell me. I had to find out myself and ask for a refund. Should be shocking, but i've come to expect it now. So i'm back on the hunt.

How annoying - I had an email from them yesterday confirming they had dispatched the ball I ordered on Friday but I wouldn't be surprised if they had made a c*ck up!
These companies really need to get their acts together (not that I'd buy off MOE again but was desparate for the ball)

The thing is, I can't see how we will get hold of the balls and other add on's when so few places sell them on line. I just can't drag my two young babies out all day hunting down them by visiting various supermarkets etc. I don't want to pay e bay prices but may have to. Part of me thinks they will get more in stock before Christmas but not sure I'm prepared to take the risk.

At the risk of getting hoarse .....:rotfl:I will say again :

There may be pockets of stock with the ball (everyone is desperate for it) and other items , but there are now no UK imports expected of anything other than hamsters and beds/carriers before Christmas.

Even then, whilst the hamsters should hit the outlets over the next two weeks. the beds and carriers don't look like they will be in time to buy and deliver before Christmas as the expected date to hit UK shores is 18 Dec.

Hi guys, sitting on iPhone Internet outside dd school and am feeling rough today :( seem to be so tired and have no energy whatsoever (think being pregnant starting to catch up with me lol) therefore haven't managed to read last 10 pages or so as I don't think my eyes could cope lol. Have I missed anything? Xxx
