I will probably get stomped on for this but we are all adults on ebay and those choosing to partcipate in the raffles surely do so at their own free will.. why people are reporting them ive no idea.. as with most things in life profiteering will inevitably happen. The choice is there not to click Buy Now.. and no i'm not a seller of any of these raffle tickets just think it seems a bit bizarre that people are getting so het up about it.

If all the people that are desperate enough to participate in such a raffle done as we all do and scour the internet every day they would by now have had opportunities to purchase both the hamsters and accessories for RRP.. dont really think they need some higher ebay force protecting them from supposed "scams" :o
    I LOVE MSE! :money:
  • the new sainsburys at braehead had about 15 hamsters this morning, they had all 4.

My sister bought some there last night.

I just bought a sk8board from tesco silverburn.

Still on the hunt for a house tho.

My sister in law has bought 4 carriers and blankets from Amazon for £13.49 each!!! She is desperate to get things for her two and my two. I pleaded with her not to but she felt she had to as she could see them going up by the minute and didn't want to risk it. She now needs hamsters and a house... good luck to her...I hope she doesn't pay over the odds for those as well.

I know it's against some peoples principles but the hamsters are going for under £20 now on ebay. You're paying over the rrp but this may be your last chance as the nearer it gets to xmas maybe stock will run out again and ebay prices will shoot up. its a gamble

It is the other items that I think will go through the roof.

At least there are two more consignments of Hamsters set to hit our shores over the next week or so.

It seems like there is nothing else that will hit the retail chains until after Christmas.

I understand what you are saying but to quote ebay

"eBay does not permit listings that promote giveaways, lotteries, raffles, or prize competitions as these promotions are highly regulated and may be illegal under English law. "

These people are just out to make a fast buck at desperate a parent's expense.

I have been following this thread for the past 2 weeks, having never heard of these hamsters, am now an expert. I have been sucked in with this craze!!

I have managed to buy 8 hamsters and a house online (before anyone bites my head off, I have been selling them for £12 plus pp to friends and people who haven't been able to get them covering my pp costs).

I was going to get my daughter the set for Christmas, but this is going to be a never ending purchase, what with so many add-ons and the new stuff coming out next year and she's not even 3 yet.

I'm now going to stop this rat race (or should I say hamster race), she can have 1 hammie which she'll prob only play with for 5 mins.

Don't give up hope just yet and good luck to all those looking. If I see anything in my travels, now that I am not looking, will post on here (I'll prob finds loads of stuff now).
