Hamsters in quarantine!

If they have hiked up the price to £29/99 from the rrp of £9/99 then I'm afraid the quarantine wouldn't stop my anger from turning into a Rabies like frenzy and telling Makro where they can shove their hamsters!

I understand that many retailers have shifted the price to £14/99 which is still annoying but £29/99 is disgustingly outrageous.

Hi has anyone managed to get a ball at all in the last week without having to pay ebay rip off prices. Please someone give me hope that there is some stock out there somwhere!

An earlier post mentioned makro at 29.99 but this included a hamster and a playset within the same box so perhaps this is the case for all of them. HTH xx

I got one yesterday at Wilkinson in Sheffield. If I had known they were so hard to get I would have got one for you all as there were quite a few. None today though. Ill keep my eyes peeled though xx

oh, that's a bit better then. I thought it was just for the hamster.

Well, I suppose it is still dearer but if it comes in a gift pack it does make it slightly more palatable.

I am surprised that a large company like TRU does not have anything in place that prevents people from being able to buy once stock has depleted.

I agree you would think the large companys would be able to fulfill online orders especially given they have had hundreds of hamsters for slae in sotres this weekend.:mad:

I am of the mind now that anything ordered online is only a definate when it arrives.
I ordered my hamsters from character but also got 2 at Tru in store just in case.
At least if you do double up then you can easily pass them on.
