hi, no nothing in burnley, i kept visiting all supermarkets every other day and still no stock in tesco, they dont sell them at burnley asda and wilkinsons they have told me so, and none in argos, i havnt tried rawtenstall or any surrounding areas but this week i think i'll be on a hamster hunt through all the tesco etc, let me know on here if you find anything, im desperate for a ball

Am looking out for accessories and nothing here , if i see any balls will snap up a couple.
Tesco Haslingden definately had stock couple weeks ago and Burnley Tesco had shelf for them , empty though :rolleyes:

They had hamsters in Wilkinson in Hayes about a week ago but when I went in on Friday I think it was they had removed the price label from the shelf so am assuming they are not getting anymore.

I got my house from TRU about a month ago, when I went in on Friday I heard the Manager telling someone who was buying a hamster that they had other stock in during the week but wasn't sure what it was, will probably have to pop in there one morning this week for something else so will see if they have any more beds/carriers as they had those in a week and a half ago.

They had hamsters at the Bulls Bridge Tesco last week on Friday too but didn't have any on Saturday evening when I went in and the label had gone too.

brill, if i come across any accessories i can try and get some for you, which colour's if i find any? yes tesco have now removed the hammie shelf and now filled it with other toys, but thats just because they cannot get any in at the moment, but i wont give in and will still be checking every morning at 8.45 once kiddie gone to school, i will keep you posted

How utterly disappointing for you. What I find upsetting is that you were notified 3 days later. During that time you may have had the chance to buy elsewhere but thinking you had a confirmed order from TRU you wouldn't have bought.

I am surprised that a large company like TRU does not have anything in place that prevents people from being able to buy once stock has depleted.

I really feel for you and others that have had the same poor customer service.

As you rightly point out, people are missing other potential stock due to these retail muck ups. I couldve had other stock if I hadn't been messed around by some retailers and it just makes it so much worse xx

i spoke to my local makro in hull and the lady said that the hamsters were in quarantine and that you couldn't reserve them. the price was £29.99 but couldn't guarantee that price when they do go on sale next week!

I have just been on kelkoo and it says toys r us pipsqueek 14.99? Looked on toys r us web site and still 9.99 on there but wonder if they are putting prices up and thats one reason why there is no stock as prices are changing? Will keep an eye out in rawtenstall etc for those near me if you let me know what your after.
Ooops just checked again and noticed it says inc pand p underneath. Doh!!! Getting suspicous of retailers with this hammie hunt.

omg! I was going to get hubby to check there for me as he has a card. 'In quaranteen'? What the darn? Might ring them up tomorrow and give them some menacing.

Is it worth checking the 24 hour supermarkets later in the evening? I could do two Tescos and an Asda lol.
