Well it seems that everyone but me (and a couple of others) are getting their orders - when they ordered what i did as well!!

I am just annoyed really about how it is dealt with - If i know i ordered after everyone else then fair enough but i ordered pretty damn quick and i got the order cancelled an hour later when they listed again!!!! :mad:

We can't really blame the Yorkshire toy company though as their server is probably not designed for the huge volume of traffic that would have occurred when someone posted that they had stock. When CMgiftsandcollectables listed they had over 500 hits as soon as they put the stock on...which gives everyone an idea of just how many people may be watching the posts on this forum at any one time. I think collectively we've managed to crash a lot of, correction, most of the websites, at some point or another, although there have been some notable exceptions that have managed to cope under the strain. My advice would be if a website lists, and you do not want to purchase any products, don't go onto the website for a look as you'll just be adding to the traffic uneccessarily and may be prevent someone who is really desperate to purchase something from doing so.

yorkshire toys have got all hamster stock, but they cant get on their site to put them on but they can take phone orders I am told

Postage at the yorkshire toy company was £4.25 for me. So what with the beds being £7.99, it does work out a bit expensive. But then it's still better than paying way more than that on Ebay or Amazon I guess

the manager at my local store told me they dont stock go go hamsters in our store :mad:

My confirmation email was at 20.56 and cancellation at 21.12. Have sent another email requesting how they justify not providing stock on a first come first served basis. Am absolutely fuming now!!

most managers say that in whatever store you go. tesco sainsbury etc etc just keep on calling hem
