  • just to explain my expletives are meant for unscrupulous sellers:mad: out there not this forum.

and the expletives in my post weren't even expletives! LOL It's really funny what is filtered out sometimes.

I got mine from Tesco and they were £9.99

I know - I was referring to people inferring that Sainsbury's had hiked the price of the hamsters up as they were so popular but they have always been £14.99 since they were released. I was comparing it to Tesco's who had hiked their prices up for the add ons since the hamsters have gotten so popular.

misslily, no one has put a link up to the go go hamster hunter ebay group.

people have actually been putting links up to individual items, not the ebay group.

i fail to see where signposting is wrong. i thought this whole site was about signposting people to where they can save money. clearly i have misunderstood the concept?

Actually they have, plus the moderators have put up at least2 warnings about it in recent days. I'm not against it I have got stuff on there myself. Just telling peeps to be careful - dont we want to keep this thread going?

i think what it was was that the forum manager came on about 50 pages ago warning people not to put up posts saying that they had items to swap or sell and he also put at the end ALSO PUTTING A LINK UP FOR A EBAY SWAP FORUM IS TRYING TO CIRUMVATE (is thet right word?) AND IS ALSO NOT ALOUD .dont get me wrong with the capitial am just trying to make it stand out a bit and not shouting in an shape or form and am just repeating what the forum manager posted on the thread

    hope this helps :)

This is not what MSE was set up for. Pathetic back biting and nastiness is not in the spirit of MSE, and really leaves a bitter taste.
To the genuine ones, good luck. I am returning to real life away from hamster land!

I am sooooo excited just been to John Lewis to pick up the hamsters I ordered the other night. Didn't for a minute think I would get them as I ordered 2 and didn't realise it was max 1 (I am a newby to this lil hunt going on ) I actually got the 2 my children wanted .
Hubby's just been shopping to our local Asda and picked up 3 of the acessories. How lucky is that !!
Mind you the acessories are useless without the house!!

For anyone in the northwest I have been told that there might be stock in a few of the Tesco stores that are opening this week if that is any good to anyone ?:T:T:T
