Just heard from Carol, that's it for tonight. She's off for a large glass of vino and to drool over Anton du Beck on Strictly Come Dancing :rotfl:. She has loads of elves in her workshop tomorrow to get over 400 orders out to Santa Claus...phew!!!

There is one more batch of houses being listed probably tomorrow night. I have suggested a later listing time to give those parents who have to bath their kids and put them to bed a chance. Approximate time unknown at the minute, but I should know tomorrow evening and will post accordingly. Apparently the trouble is that the houses clog up their packing dept so Carol handles them separately to her normal orders so normal customers aren't delayed. Any houses put on tomorrow won't be dispatched until Wednesday/Thursday for Thursday/Friday delivery. They are keen to get them out as they have some big deliveries (other toys) in this week.

I'm pleased for those who got their houses tonight, its great to see so many happy hamster hunters, ha, ha. I think we've got to say a huge thank you to Carol and Hooray, they are the ones that managed to secure the stock, to restrict the items being able to be ordered to give as many parents as possible the chance to get the house they needed, and of course BIG RESPECT to their IT guy - we've managed to crash just about every other site recently, even from many of the huge retailers, and Hooray managed to keep theirs online (I wonder if he's good looking and single...). :T :T :T

Don't blame the nightly order quota.

That's exactly what others are doing ... 100+ Fun Houses is a lot of space occupied at the warehouse waiting for the courier to come.

It definitely appeared on mine .. I don't need it but was curious to see whether it was reported ... and it was ... at least on my faster domain.

I don't think throwing around accusation is helpful. As it happens, I've been wondering the same thing about prices on ebay, but out of idle curiosity, nothing else.

Idle curiosity here too !!! I still even check the boots no 7 p&p prices - how mad is that:rotfl:or should that be sad:rolleyes:
  • Hammie on ebay £3 with £22 postage but local to me... just for the sheer fun of it I messaged him and asked if I could buy and collect to save postage :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    He's not replied yet :D
    hehehe i love it :T
  • Thanks for this - just had about an hours hilarious entertainment with hubby trying to order one of these - he did Spanish at school (while I did French) and he had me in fits with his attempts to help me fill in the form to order - had to resort to babelfish more than once - total cost was 49.95 Euro approx £45 according to XE (what an appalling exchange rate!) but I was looking at the guy selling them on ebay and thinking I'd go to £60 so keep fingers crossed for me - I'll let you all know when (if :o) it arrives! :p

I'm glad I've managed to 'give something back' after lurking on here. I really hope it arrives OK - hate the thought of you having to ring them up to chase...
