Why can't argos spread the deliveries throughout the country instead of giving them all to london and south east stores?

If it's any consolation, I've checked the central London argos shops on many occasions for store-collect, and never had a sniff.

The problem, I think, with the shops in Holborn and New Oxford Street is that so many people work near here, so it's handy for them.

Well, after my horribly early start this morning, I am going to go and have a nap. No doubt will miss some stock of playsets, but hey ho...... I will get one at some point!

well, my hunt is over now. I have had enough. I have listed my spare hamsters on ebay - don't shout at me, I have listed them at 99p start and there will be a donation to the anthony nolan trust of any profits made over rrp + expenses. I had hoped to swap for the ball, but nothing going. I can't carry on like this! it's driving me mental.

I have really been enjoying getting into the spirit of hamster hunting with you all - I've been lurking for a while! Unfortunately I have twins and would need 2 of everything so limits of one are not helping my search! I don't even know if my kids want one! This is definitely a replay of Biscuit last year, and they've played with that all of 6 times. :rolleyes: Anyway, I have nothing at all at the moment.

I've been on Ebay - are they really allowed to charge postage of £22.50 on a £3.00 hamster? What a con!

Is there a telephone number for online Toysrus. I had an order yesterday that took may paypal money - but no confirmation from them. I need to speak to them.

The one on saynoto0870.com just rings out.
