Has anyone ordered recently from Heroes For Kids? If so, prepare to be disappointed I've just had this email from them:-

Thank you for your recent order for the Go Go Hamsters. We have today been informed by our suppliers, that due to a shortfall of this product by at least 300,000 hamsters, we will not be getting our promised delivery. As parents ourselves, please know that we fully appreciate the frustration and dissapointment that this unforeseen situation has caused. Had we of known that we were going to be so badly let down, we would never of advertised the product, putting ourselves and our customers in this dissapointing situation.

Please accept our sincere apologies and we trully wish that the situation was different. Your order for the hamsters has now been refunded in full.

NO FIRM SHOULD ADVERTISE AN ITEM FOR SALE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE STOCK IN THEIR POSSESION ~ THIS IS WRONG TO RELY ON WORD OF MOUTH THIS IS NOT HELPING THE THOUSANDS OFCUSTOMERS BEING LET DOWN YET AGAIN!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Also makes you realise how many more desperate parents are now going to be out there hunting again......

Right thats me giving up, i've sat here all day waiting for Character for nothing, But yay hayyyy to TRU as i managed to get my order in first thing for a couple of hammies.
I'm off to get the other half his beer from asda, Ohhh and go Hammie Ball hunting aswell...LOL

just read my local paper headlines read"people go go mad for rodents"according to a argos spokesman tens of thousands of the racing rodents will be arriving in time for christmas most stores next week will be getting them.according to john lewis they had stacks on the shelves last week too....did they??? so don,t give up or into ebay just yet if the above is true,argos advise to keep checking stocks,

I haven't had anything yet - but then i am at work til 4pm so can't read my home email. When i spoke to them she said to me that i should receive it next week. I didn't pay for next day though.
