    I have just spoken to hubby - I had a confirmation email at 1.25 and then another acknowledgement email at 1.50 - nothing to cancel it though. I reckon when i rang up originally she just used me as a cancellation to try to get other orders through - er i don't think so - I am a desperate parent!

    Has anyone ordered recently from Heroes For Kids? If so, prepare to be disappointed :( I've just had this email from them:-

    Dear xxxx

    Thank you for your recent order for the Go Go Hamsters. We have today been informed by our suppliers, that due to a shortfall of this product by at least 300,000 hamsters, we will not be getting our promised delivery. As parents ourselves, please know that we fully appreciate the frustration and dissapointment that this unforeseen situation has caused. Had we of known that we were going to be so badly let down, we would never of advertised the product, putting ourselves and our customers in this dissapointing situation.

    Please accept our sincere apologies and we trully wish that the situation was different. Your order for the hamsters has now been refunded in full.
    You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

    bit the bullet and bought a car/garage for my boy for £23,50 plus postage, least i can chill a bit now and not pass out through the stress :cool:
