  • and I was told they definitely had stock - ball, skateboard and surf board if i remember correctly.

they must have sold in bulk - lower costs / better profit.

I just spoke to a lady at mail order express and she said that my order for the ball is being prepared for dispatch, so you never know some of use might have been successfull.

  • Am going to find another addiction, what a waste, we have all been had, while they sit in their offices dressed in Pudsy spots in baths of jelly no doubt, I am now cracking and will happily pay over the odds on ebay as atleast I know (or hope) something will turn up. We should all stop looking and buy Buckaroo (other games are available)!!!!!

    Right. I fold. Enough already!!!!!
Assuming TRU delivery my Mr Squiggles I will be selling it, I can't handle the stress of trying to find another 2 hamsters.
    @ Character

Ah don't - could you not just keep Mr Squiggles for a couple more weeks at least? You never know, you could find friends for him in Asda, Tesco, or Wilkinsons (maybe even Argos?) before Christmas.

I only started with one hamster and a carrier (3 weeks ago) then have bought a num-nums in Asda last weekend. The stock is still clearly getting out there, but I do think we'll find its more instore (right place at the right time) than online now that there are more and more folk looking for them than ever.

Well I'm glad I paid over the RRP to another company now, I'd rather give my money to someone who isn't going to !!!! people around just because they can. Selfish gits.
  • i had an idea, when using very/choice/additions/marshal ward etc
get the stuff lined up in your basket...because when you get to the checkout stage it then says they are no longer available.
Just keep refreshing that page rather than the main pages...then when they come in to stock just remove the items that are OOS and checkout.

A big thanks to all the comp posters for their effort

    Because they hadn't decided that.

They do have stock, but are choosing not to sell it right now ... I can only surmise that is because whilst other stores are OOS, and their site is being hit, they would rather wait until stock comes into other stores (Maybe???). The site running so slowly must be hurting sales of their other products.

Who knows ... maybe they decided to sell on to Toys r Us rather than have the hassle of selling direct?

Don't think that you can knock them entirely though .. they have been very (too) open about listing times in the past.

I agree with most of what you say as usual however I for one had additional products in my basket to inflate my purchase to qualify for free shipping. That is now revenue that they won't be getting on other products (the price of some are higher than you can buy elsewhere). I'm sure that I won't be the only one to have done that. In not listing some of the go go stock they have lost out on other potential sales and now will have some people bad mouthing them. I had never heard of them until this craze started and many others may now give them bad publicity.

Not all their decisions today have made any business sense.
