    GO GO PETS STOCK UPDATE (20/11/2009): No stock available until further notice.

    Should read

    I just wish they'd have said this at 9am this morning. I've got so much to do!!

    Now everyone will just refresh continuously to see if they have provided an update...!! They have now commited to giving everyone notice of further stock and as such have probably caused themselves more work. A notion previously posted by Lizdav IIRC.

    Spoke to Character - the woman was so relieved that the message had gone on - she said they will all be out of there at 5pm and nothing will happen til Monday at the earliest now. I have had it - I am buying from ebay later tonight when the kids are in bed.

    They also said they were going to be drip feeding stock for sale all day today...

    Relieved?? Makes me laugh....its christmas, its once a year, everyone has to stay late at work to cope at busy times. Blame the bosses for not ordering enough stock, while they can sit back feeling relieved they have left hundreds of parents feeling stressed, let down and annoyed.

    UNBELIVABLE !!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    THAT IS SOOOOOO NASTY TO DO THAT , WHY THE HELL COULD THEY HAVE NOT JUST SAID THAT THIS MORNING !

    Because they hadn't decided that.

    They do have stock, but are choosing not to sell it right now ... I can only surmise that is because whilst other stores are OOS, and their site is being hit, they would rather wait until stock comes into other stores (Maybe???). The site running so slowly must be hurting sales of their other products.

    Who knows ... maybe they decided to sell on to Toys r Us rather than have the hassle of selling direct?

    Don't think that you can knock them entirely though .. they have been very (too) open about listing times in the past.
