From Monday 19th to Friday 30th October our van, full of spiders, will be travelling the creepy-crawley depths of Surrey and Sussex. All you need to do is guess how many of our eight-legged friends are inside.

Each day, Gary will pick a listener at random to reveal their answer in the Breakfast Show. Get it right and you win the grand...get it wrong and you get tickets for the Shocktober Fest and Scream Park at Tulleys Farm.

The online entry doesn't require a guess. You only need to make a guess if you enter the on air competition.

Judging by the terms and conditions the online entry is just to register for the on-air competition, rather than being a separate competition in itself. You need to be contactable at certain times and happy to talk on air.

I received a call from them earlier in the week after registering and was asked to take a guess at how many spiders were in the van without having seen it.

I guessed at 550 and they said it wasn't a bad guess but there were more than that so I didn't win

I don't know if I was on air or not but it was about 8am when they rang.

I received a call from them today and think I was on the radio, not sure. They called me just after 8am. Wonder if anyone here finally won it, I couldn't have been too far out as they told me the two amounts it was between (both 1900-something, I think, and I guessed at 1939). Wish I'd won it... ah well! Never mind!
