Does anyone know if this monitor is any good?? The spec sounds good. Not required for heavy gaming, although watching DVDs is needed.

I have this monitor and I have to say it is great. I use it for everything - gaming, movies and just general PC use. The glass front is very very cool. Eyecatching and unusual, but classy.

If you are sensitive to certain things, or used to very high performance screens then you might want to have a look at one in the flesh before buying, as some people don't like them.

I went from a 17" Hitachi (one of the early 12ms models) to this screen and haven't looked back since. I wrote a short review for this screen when I got it (including a few pictures) - if you are interested I can send you a link.

    :)

Hi - yes please, send the link. How much did you pay? Why don't some people like them? Sounds like it does the job for most things.

I paid ~£200 for mine thanks to staff discount :D but at the moment they are going for around £250-280ish.

Some people don't like the glass front mainly due to reflection from sunlight if the computer is near a window. I cant say I've had any problems with this. Also, there are a few screens within this price range that perform a little better (see some Viewsonic or Samsung models) but dont have much as far as looks go. I chose the Xerox over a Viewsonic/Samsuing model because the performance difference was so small (not noticeable to me) and it looked so much better.

I've seen one for £200 - hence my interest. I've also seen the next model up (XA?? can't remember) for £210. This looks like the same thing but incorporates sound. I'll checkout your link. Thanks.
