They are spinning you a line....
No mater though, if they fitted them then they are guaranted for a year.
They supplied and fitted them, so they are responsible for putting it right.

If the car isn`t used for a week or too in the winter the discs may get a little rust on them, this will come off within a few minutes of light braking, this is perfectly normal... going through a puddle is absolute nonsense...
Clearly whats happened is they have fitted very cheap quality discs that have warped already !!!

Over time discs will wear down, they get thinner...
a lot of hard braking causes the discs to get hot...
at which point they will warp...

They are not that expensive now, generally £50 a pair
and only need changing after about 4/5 years or so, (mileage depending)

It only takes about 60-90 mins to do all the fronts
but be careful some garages will still try to scare you with their sky high prices, don`t be put off, shop around..

No, but your belief that the disc had warped out of shape was.

There speaks the voice of authority.
I've replaced warped discs, I've replaced ventilated discs that I've cracked between the webbing, I've replaced scored discs.

We've had to replace discs that were out of shape/warped. It happens, manufacturing error.
