Removing Coffee Stain from Beige Carpet

Hi,
Wonder if anyone can help my dad out. He has a new 80% wool beige carpet. He spilled half a cup of coffee on it (very unlike him). He mopped up the liquid straight away and then used 1001 on it, following the instructions. He has done this 3 times now.
It worked perfectly on his new rug that the coffee also stained, but there is still a mark on the wool carpet.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of the remaining stain?
Thanks a lot.
Precious Thing.

We used the Vanish carpet cleaner (similar to 1001) on tea stains on our beige carpet - came up a treat !There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0

i have a beige carpet and the best cleaner is to mix up a small amount of colour care washing liquid (the type you put in washing machines) with hot water and use a clean cloth and clean the area. This is more effective than the sprays you buy. This tip came from a professional carpet cleaner.0

Hi Precious Thing,
Have a look at this website: How to clean anything. If you click on 'search tips' and type in coffee and carpet, it should help.

My cat had a nasty accident on my new 100% wool off white carpet tried several removers then heard about OUT for pet stains and any other stains and odours.Whilst the others nearly worked this did what it said and removed the lot ,it was difficult to find but tracked it down at makro bet pet shops have it to. I really have confidence in this now.0
