Reclaim PPI on defaulted loan

Does anybody know if you can reclaim the PPI on a defaulted loan?? I have searched but cannot find any reference to it.

I don't think that makes any difference, you can still submit a claim for any PPI payments that have been made.

They might pay any refund to the loan though.

Hi there

It makes no difference at all if the loan is in default, so if mis sold the PPI, give it a go.
It may also be a case that if successful it will be refunded towards the loan itself, yet it will help.;)

There is a link below to check, with useful info of Martins, with a checklist of mis selling reasons and templates etc, you write to them with your reasons, check the checklist as well in case any of those reasons occur to you, and they have 8 weeks to respond in full.

Post by recorded delivery - this is your proof of posting.

Keep at them, until they uphold/resolve in your favour, in the final decision they do generally if eligible enclose details of the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), you should be able to take your complaint to them if your not happy with the outcome.
