In my experiance with Npower they do not want to know once you have left so get it now !

Ditto,
Never been with NPower, but have found it a pain when switching from other suppliers when in Credit. Personally I'd try and get the money back and (if you pay via Direct Debit) try and switch to quarterly billing before switching.0 -
As we're now, hopefully, past the colder and higher energy use months I'd get the credit amount back from them anyway (whether you're changing suppliers or not). It's only going to increase over the summer. Better in your account than theirs?0
