The pressure on parents to spend rarely stops, we're in October so more often than not that means you have a Halloween party to go to or kids to dress up for Trick or Treating.
As often's the case wait if you wait until the last minute you'll pay through the nose to buy a costume.
So we thought we'd tap MoneySavers' research power to find the cheapest places to buy costumes.

supermarkets tend to be the cheapest, but most had their stock out over 2wks ago, and the costumes are more of less sold out already. Asda being the most reasonably priced, for kids and adults
Poundland have adult capes, masks, etc. and pumpkin or witch outfits (but only in ages 2-4)
Matalan have really OTT, fancy costumes, but prices are £20+

I got my daughters outfit in Matalan for 8.00
Tesco also have great outfits from 8.00-12.000 -
i found m&s to be a good price this year, i got my dd a witch costume and it was £9.50, and it looks lovely. i did look around and found sainsburys to be £9 and the quality wasn't as nice as M&S.0

cheapest 'fangs' are at wilkinson - 3p
or if you want glow-in-the-dark ones, sainsburys and asda both have them for 10p

instore has costumes, accessories, decorations, plates, cups and spooky cutlery on 3 for 2, very basic costumes but does the job.
this year my kids have borrowed a arty book from the library and have been making loads of decorations, looking really good to.
we are using the 3p fangs for party bags along with instores pumpkin chocs, buy 1 get 1 free, and they have pumpkin lolly pops, 20 for 99p.3 wonderfull kids :female::female::male:, 1 fab hubby, 2 beautifull cats and 1 very large dog = my family!
