Praise for Pulsar

I bought my other half a lovely watch for Xmas about 4 years ago. It was originally £100 but reduced to £50 then good old Debenhams had one of their 10% off offers so only cost £45 in the end.

However, earlier this year the bracelet started to come apart and Debenhams don't do repairs and none of the local watch shops could help.

Phoned Pular who advised of their connection with a local jeweller (praise also for Patersons in Perth) and to take it to them. Paterons would then send it off for repair. One week later watch returned but due to bracelet no longer being "current" they were unable to repair. They did, however, offer us a new watch to the value of £95 for the price of a repair (had it been possible) which was £23.00! OH chose a lovely new watch :T.

Well done Pulsar! And well done Patersons!

I had a similar experience with my Pulsar watch, mine was an 18th birthday present from my parents and cost a small fortune, 2 years ago (so the watch was 12 years old) the button? you use to change the time fell off, but i never noticed it happening and as a result, lost the button (what the hell is this bit actually called?? lol)

Anyhows, I spoke to Pulsar, who directed me to a local jewellers who could order part and repair it. They quoted me around £70 in total, which I thought was fair enough, but when I went to pick it up, they told me that Pulsar had kept my details on file and had told them to charge the repair costs to Pulsar and had sent the piece needed FOC.

I'm glad to hear they are still offering a high level of customer service!
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
