Ok, I've just asked the OH as he's just got home. Apparently its only Thursday in certain flagship stores (kingston, staines, uxbridge as far as he knows) for the southern support offices and some Nottingham stores. He says communication has been very poor and not very clear at all. That email certainly suggested ALL stores . Hope this helps!

That piece about communication being poor sounds about right for the Boots Company.Off topic a bit, I was made redundent from one of their warehouses this year and they told us we couldn't take a permanent job again at Boots for 6mths or we would have to pay back redundency money, only now (after permanent jobs have been and gone)have we found out that we can as long as its not a like for like job. The only good thing is that after 21yrs I got to keep my discount card:j

shame has this new rule just come in to place, i took redundancy a few years back, then rejoined 6 months later days from nights. its annoying you loose out on time and half and double time on bank holidays, oh well lucky to have a job i suppose in the current climate.

Just wonder if anyone can help me with this.
I have bought five vitamin products and 3 No7 eye creams with each item having '3 for 2' offer. I got double discount on these items. Today I just found out the store actually said ONE offer product a week. I'm only working part time so I'm quite ignorant on this.
Do the 3 for 2 products counted as offer of the week?
Will I be sacked if they are?

By offer of the week I think they mean the items like the Sanctuary gift set and No7 mens gift set that have recently been on offer at more or less half price. 3 for 2 won't count.

dont worry you will be fine... offer of the week is one of the sest from xmas 3 for 2 mix and match... its 50% off for a week only and every week there is diffrent product on offer...

sorrry to bump an old thread but does anyone know when the double discount days are this year twice now ive missed them, and has anyone managed to get their new discount card to work online yet, mine says 'you have already added a discount card' then doesn't take off any discount. thanks

My mother has a boots staff discount card but as a retiree gets no notification so I will be relying on this thread to find out. My list is ready!
Quick question is it only double on Boots brand, or all brands?
