Car Ins claim 18mnths ago - now no blame

Will be good news if they do refund any of the premium. Last years insurance covered two accidents unfortunately. One of which was deffo at fault which was covered under protected NCD, but the second one caused my no claims to be reduced to 40%.
Hence I did pay my new insurer on this basis. If I remember the premium was £300 or so, so I guess they should recalculate on the basis of 60% NCD and remove any 2nd fault accident weighting and reimburse me the difference?
Got to wait to the other party involved in the cases' insurers to cough up first to my insurance company. Then get it all in writing.0
