All I really want to know is can someone on a low wage get help with getting divorced?
I don't want to start another "divorce" thread and bore you all with the details so I'll just say that 6 days after the wedding I found out the marriage was not going to work!
My husband and I have been "separated" for nearly 3 years although we have been talking.
I now think it's time to get divorced after yet more problems.
My husband doesn't work and now lives in a hotel / b&b but I work part-time (25 hours a week) take home pay £487.78 a month, I receive £33.20 a week child benefit (I have 2 children, not his) and £171.68 in tax credits. I currently don't receive csa for my children.
Do you think I can get help with a divorce?

Do you mean financial help?
A divorce can be done for next to nothing. It's only if you want to get solicitors involved than you need a load of cash.0 -
A quick calculation based on your income details suggests you are entitled to free legal help and advice from a Solicitor. Call a local solicitor who specialises in family law and does legal aid.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
