New Postage Rates
charlies_mum
Sorry if it has been mentioned on here before, but I had no idea that the postage rates went up on 5th October.
I post Worldwide and had something to send to Italy which I had calculated at £16 postage (airmail). When I took it to the post office I was told that it had to go via Global Priority as it was over 2kg, and the cost was £31.99
Sent it and took the loss as it was my mistake, but when I got booklet with the new rates in, Europe is now divided into sections with different prices for each.
Don't think there is any way European buyers will pay these new prices, so will have to either find a new carrier, or just post to the UK.
If you do post Worldwide, you need to get one of these new booklets

If you use royal mail - under 2kg its domestic, europe and the rest of the world.
Parcelforce though has many zones (always has) HERE0 -
I was worried there for a moment. Luckily I only use Royal Mail so my rates are unchanged.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Cyberbob, This was with Parcelforce, and I know that the cost escalates when something goes over the 2 kg limit, but I wasn't aware that the prices were going up on October 5th, and the Uk prices seem to have rocketed for some weightsYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever
